各位领导、老师大家好:

我今天的说课内容是初中一年级的语法课,具体语法为Modal Verb.接下来我会从教材分析,教材目标,教学过程以及板书设计等方面来阐述我对这节课的理解和设计。首先是我对教材分析的阐述。

一、教材分析

在课标中的地位和作用:

本课遵循新课标的要求,考虑基础教育改革发展方向,尽量体现基础教育中的人性化走向。面向全体初中学生,突出初中学生特点,尊重其个体差异。本课的主要内容是有关初中语法中比较初级的语法知识Modal Verb的相关内容。在此课中,主要学习情态动词的定义,以及常见的情态动词,在了解什么事情态动词的基础上,会着重介绍三个最为常见的情态动词——can, may, must。在具体讲述的过程中,会对这三个情态动词进行适度的延伸与拓展,同时会加以练习进行巩固,注重培养学生在分析例句时的思辨能力和综合语言运用能力。

教学目标

1.知识目标:要求学生熟练掌握can, may, must的具体用法

2.能力目标:学会情态动词在实际生活的交际过程中以及书写过程中的运用,不仅要会用还要用准确。

3.情感目标:让学生爱上英语课,尤其是对比较枯燥乏味的语法课产生兴趣,鼓励学生学习英语的自信心。

依据以上的教学目标,我确立了这节课的重难点:

1.教学重点:

了解情态动词的定义,熟记常见的情态动词,学会三个基本的情态动词can, may, must的具体用法

2.教学难点:

情态动词用法的基本句型以及can,may, must的区分和各自特殊地用法。

依据我对教材的分析,以及教学目标教学重难点的确立,我制定了相应的教法与学法。

二、学习方法与教学方法的分析

对于比较枯燥乏味的语法知识,要是学生主动参与,自己实践,让学生学会学习,同时师生互动,寓教于乐,为学生营造民主、和谐、宽松中适度紧张和自我表现的空间,在快乐的氛围中学习。我在教学的过程中会注意到“involvement”的重要性。比如,在讲解三个常见的情态动词是根据其不同的用法我会请同学们翻译例句,并说出例句中情态动词表示的含义以及用法,之后我会请同学进行类似的造句,使学生能够牢记其用法并熟练运用以提高其综合语言运用能力和自主学习能力。我会鼓励学生多举一些发生的实例,以着重培养和体现其情感态度的变化。此外,在讲解三个基本情态动词需特别注意的要点时,我会分小组讨论,并积极与同学们进行沟通,培养其合作精神和健康的人生观。

根据初中学生刚刚开始接触语法的过渡特点,我主要运用语法翻译法和演绎法使学生融入课堂,尽量弱化语法在学生心中“枯燥乏味”的现象。注重用贴合生活的具体事例,将英语学习与其他学科相结合,将师生互动融入课堂,通过小组讨论,代表陈述以及适当的游戏使学生参与进课堂学习。

几乎没有教师上语法课发现乐趣,也没有学生重视这门课。其原因是他们忘记了语法课不是一门独立的课程,它仅是英语课的一小部分,此外就是延伸与扩展太多。孤立学习语法规则和靠填空形式来做语法练习效率是很低的,不能提高学生的听说读写能力。因此,我主张应该培养学生自动化的使用正确形式,不靠语法逻辑,在课前让学生做一些回忆性练习,这样可以使学生本能的使用正确形式,又节省改作业时间。填空练习不应用作教新句型和新用法的手段,而应作为巩固所学内容的手段和调查分析的手段。学习语法,习惯超于教学作用,因此我着重在日常学习中培养学生主动总结以成习惯的自主能力。

三、教学过程的分析

根据新课程标准的要求,在以学生为主体,以教师为辅导,以多媒体为手段,我制定了以下几个环节:

导入阶段(warm-up) 5min.

1.导入语:Hello, everyone. How are you today? Now I have aquestion to you? Do you like grammar?

不可避免的会有些学生不喜欢语法,觉得语法太难太枯燥了,会提不起兴趣,要通过向学生阐述语法的重要性以及弱化语法在学生心中“枯燥乏味”的印象。

2.引出课题:Today we will talk something about grammar----ModalVerb引出今天的课题。

新课呈现阶段(Emerge)25min.

1.定义教学:

①介绍Modal Verb的三个重要特点。先提问同学们是否有人知道,然后再逐一进行解释,举出一些例子,请同学们分析。

②总结基本句型,通过回顾定义来引出句型。请同学回顾。

2.课堂讨论教学:

①让同学们分析例句,小组讨论,得出结论,发表陈述。

②教师不定期提问一些问题,比如,How to translate the first sentence? Couldyou read the following sentences? And all.

3.总结陈述教学:

①在课程接近末尾的时候,请同学对本课所学知识进行总结。Can的具体用法,may的具体用法和must的具体用法,以及something should pay more attention.

②对课堂重点难点的重申,在课程后半部要对本堂课所讲知识进行概括,尤其是重点难点,让学生有计划有目的的吸收和运用。

巩固、运用阶段 13min.

1.发给同学们提前准备的练习题,当所讲知识点与相关练习题呼应时,对练习题进行进一步的讲解。

2.留给学生适应的时间,让学生们自主做题,可以进行小组讨论,之后进行相应的陈述。

3.请同学们现场造句,请其他同学为其分析。

布置作业 2min.

在课程讲述结束后,要给学生布置适量的课后作业,让学生对三个基本情态动词的用法造几个句子,使学生灵活运用情态动词。

四、板书设计

板书的设计一定要清楚明了,具有一定的逻辑性,同时不能过度冗长浪费课上时间。另一方面,ppt的使用也极为重要,课件较之黑板的一大优势就是能将抽象的东西具体化,枯燥的东西形象化,同时还能节省一大部分时间,更重要的是能够吸引同学们的注意力。

教材内容分析

本单元主要学习询问身体健康状况、谈论身体状况以及对身体健康方面的一些忠告或建议、要求等的日常交际用语,还学习了一些常用语及部分同义或近义词的用法。在学习对话的同时,复习归纳了现在完成时时态,强调现在完成时态不能使用过去的时间状语。进一步学习了动词不定式,学习用it 来充当形式主语的用法。 通过对课文the man who loved dogs和cody saves the baby的学习, 来体会人与动物友好相处的和谐。 同时要掌握本单元的短语和习惯用语。

关于阅读训练的教学建议

第15单元第58课与60课都是以叙事的方式,讲述关于狗的故事。the man who loved dogs讲述的是james herriot做为兽医的艰苦历程和他对职业的奉献精神。cody saves the baby讲述的是一只狗在地震时救了小主人的经过。两篇文章内容除了一些生词外,没有出现较难的语法项目。对于这样的语篇,可以通过教学设计,提高学生的阅读技巧和阅读速度。并在课堂练习或课后练习时,再阅读其他小短文,演练一下所学的方法,进而达到学会读大意,抓主题的快速阅读的目的。

让学生先对生词和短语进行熟悉,先看课后的习题或相关练习。再开始在限定的时间内通读全文,找出答案。再读课文,将事件的经过用几句话总结一下。并找几个同学试着复述课文,经过几次复述,对课文有个整体的掌握。教师应在此时引导学生注意阅读技巧,让学生反思有哪些问题可以通过改变阅读方式来解决。每篇文章都有重要的主题句,和一条或几条线索,抓住了主线,其他的内容都是作为辅助和注解出现的。根据此种阅读方法,提供另外篇阅读短文,进行课堂练习。

[反思]:教学是教师教学生学的过程,还是师生交往、积极互动、共同发展的过程?传统教学中,教师是课堂的主宰者,课堂上教学关系成为:教师讲,学生听;教师问,学生答,教师写,学生抄。要想把这种“单边活动”转为师生的“双边活动”,则必须要有学生的参与。新课程强调,教学是教与学的交往、互动,师生双方相互交流、相互沟通、相互启发、相互补充,在这个过程中教师与学生分享彼此的思考、经验和知识,交流彼此的情感、体验和观念,从而达到共识、共享和共进,实现教

一、问题要有开放性。

课堂教学中,泛滥成灾的是“封闭性问题”。封闭性问题是需要的,它强调知识的记忆和理解,打好英语基础需要扎实的语言训练。但这类问题答案相对单一,缺乏更多的信息交流,学生积极性不高。教学中若长期只有封闭性问题,将会严重阻碍和束缚学生的思维能力。

开放性问题是相对于封闭性问题而言的。开放性问题不求答案唯一,而求答案丰富多彩,“开”即能拓展,“放”就会有个性,我们就能听到学生个性化的声音。开放性问题联系学生的主观见解、实际经历、生活体验,使英语教学从“以知识为本”向“以人为本”转变,从“只见教材不见人”向“心中有本,目中有人”转变,增强学生的体验和感悟。开放性问题让人有思维的冲动,能激发学生兴趣,激活学生思维,是深层次的参与。有专家说:“课堂上,哪怕有一个开放性问题,这节课学生参与的层次就提高了”。只有有了思维的参与,才会蹦出思维的火花。

二、反馈要有激励性。

面要广,参与人数要多,为了追求所谓的快节奏和训练学生快速思维能力,一个接一个的问题抛向学生,很少会在某个学生这边作些停顿,老师更多的是追求一种正确的答案,至于学生到底回答了什么,怎么会这样回答的,老师都没多关注。而且传统的反馈基本为“good”,“excellent”,“never mind”,”you will do it better next time.”等等,但这些无关痛痒的反馈已经激不起学生的兴趣,“不要使用这种程序化的、毫无意义的反应,你应该尽力澄清、综合处理、扩展、修改、提升和评价学生的回答。”(高慎英、刘良华)

学生回答错误时或有困难时,老师干脆而生硬的一句”no”或“sit down”会挫伤学生的积极性,但若老师能“容忍”一下,给予知识上或情感上的鼓励,或允许他向其他同学寻求帮助,这会给他莫大的安慰。只要他回答了,他就多了一次成功的机会。

必要时,教师需要“追问”、“补充”和“赏识”学生的回答,这会让学生感到教师一直在倾听,教师不仅在关心问题的答案,也同样关注着学生。如当学生有精彩回答时,我一定会再大声强调一下,说,“he/she says/thinks/is…”以表示赏识。又如一次,一个学生说:”i couldn’t climb the tree when i was young .” 我马上接口补充到“but i could climb the tree when i was young.”学生听后竟然大喊“哇!”这种真实、真诚而又平等的反馈显示出对学生的关注、对学生的欣赏,极大地激励了学生回答问题的积极性。在这种师生、生生的互动过程中,不断地传出学生美丽的声音。

[小结]:有时气氛热烈时,有太多的学生想发言,让说还是不让说?不让说吧,学生很扫兴;让说吧,花费时间太多,影响教学过程的完整性,所以有时有点矛盾。但我以为新课程下的课堂教学是开放自由的,不必只拘泥于教学过程是否完整,教学任务是否完成,只要时间花在学生上,只要课堂充满了活力,促进了学生的发展,教师尽可以放开手脚去尝试和探索。当然教师如果能够在高潮时结束学生的发言,并顺利过渡到其它环节是最好不过的。
